Aloha!
Welcome to the home of the University of Hawaii Bands! Wind bands at UH can be traced back to 1923 when an eighteen-member drum and bugle corps was organized. Today, the UH Band program is comprised of over 400 students performing in three concert bands, the 250-member UH Rainbow Warrior Marching Band, and six pep bands. The most visible student organization on campus, all students are afforded the opportunity to participate in an activity that is central to the department of music, the university and the state of Hawaii. Open to all majors on campus, the University of Hawaii Bands provides a home for you filled with tradition, pride, performance excellence, and most importantly, aloha spirit!
